Enjoying the cooler weather...
Fall is here! The crisp cool evenings and sweatpants weather has been a wonderful welcome from the hot summer days we've endured for so many months. Unfortunately the holidays are creeping up fast and we are running out of time for all our sewing projects this holiday season. Good thing is, the holidays come around year after year! We are working on a Holiday Gift Ideas table so stay tuned for fun goodies for all your sewing friends.
Black Friday Sale is coming! Friday, November 25th we will be open from 9am to 5pm with specials you won't want to miss! Stay tuned and we will be announcing the details the week of Thanksgiving.
New Arrivals
Introducing Natalie Barnes of Beyond the Reef Patterns’ debut collection, Hand Maker. This collection is inspired by the “belief that we are all better because we are connected and therefore we walk through life together” and will remind you why you and your friends have become makers. Educational Opportunities
Nancy is teaching the quick and easy Anything Goes table topper. These are great last minute holiday gifts and perfect to use for any occasion! On November 30th, she is teaching the Flange Binding class. This is a fast and easy technique for binding quilts all with your machine - no hand sewing! Boxtrot is a nice quilt to do up quick before the holidays - great for beginner and experienced quilters alike.
Jan Vaine has Nesting Baskets December 10th and Embroidery Doodles on January 7th. Click for more details.
Donna is having a Sew Day with a few of her classes - Grab Some Grub, Fetch Your Sketch and Daisy Girl Backpack. All three of these classes are adult and kid friendly (previous camp attendees and 10+ with basic sewing skills) and are great items to use year round!
Just a friendly reminder to sign up at least a week in advance of class. We want to be able to give at least 5 days notice for teachers and students to plan accordingly. If you register and the class does not make, we will provide a full refund.
Saturday Sampler 2017
Many of you enjoyed last year's Saturday Sampler class so Janice has put together another 12 block program that will run from January to December 2017. Registration is $25 and gets you the first block. Bring your finished block back to the next meeting and get the next block for FREE! It will meet the second Saturday of each month from 9-10am. You have the choice between Grunge or 30s fabrics. We are about half way filled for this year's Saturday Sampler. Make sure to sign up by December 1st to join the fun!
