Won't you Be My Neighbor?
 
Moda released a new Quilt Along this week called Be My Neighbor. It will post each week until December 19th and is completely FREE! All the details are on our website under Fun Links. We will post this and more "fun stuff" on this link as we find things. Post your progress with the blocks using the hashtag #modabemyneighbor and ours #cinnamonsquilts!
QUILT FEST JACKSONVILLE
Don't miss our booth at QuiltFest next week down at the Prime Osborn. It is Thursday, September 15th through Saturday, September 17th from 9am - 5pm. Show admission is $10 and I'm sure lots of beautiful quilts as always! More details can be found at www.quiltfestjax.com. We will have a lot of new items at our booth that you haven't seen in store so be sure to stop by and check it out!
Educational Opportunities
Don't miss our new "Club Sunday" on Sunday, September 11th from 11am-4pm. It will be just $5 (pre-registration required) and any small group can come to use the classroom to meet. Hand Embroidery, Featherweight, UFO, Fiber Arts and the like are all welcome.
It's not too late! Michele has a new beginner's class called Stepping Stones and it starts on Monday, September 12th. It is a 3 yard quilt and is wonderful for all types of fabrics. The class is $45 and in 3 sessions. She also has another Night Stitchers on September 16th.
Faye is teaching Marti Michell's Feathered Star pattern on September 20th and Interlocking Hexagons on September 27 and October 4th. Check the link for more details.
Donna is teaching the darling Daisy Backpack on September 24th. It is the perfect size for adults and children alike. Just the right size for shopping, travel or just day to day use.
Just a friendly reminder to sign up at least a week in advance of class. We want to be able to give at least 5 days notice for teachers and students to plan accordingly. If you register and the class does not make, we will provide a full refund. You can view the class handout PDF or check out all the new classes through October here.
