New North Florida Shop Hop in January!
Many of you have known us to participate in the Florida Breeze Shop Hop in January. This year, that hop was cancelled and we didn't want to leave you with a void for a Winter Hop! We have 9 North Florida Shops participating from Fernandina Beach to Palm Coast: Bee's, Calico Station, Cinnamon's, Country Crossroads, Cut Up and Sew, Ladybug, Lollipops, Miss D's and Paula's. It will be Monday, January 16th through Sunday, January 22nd, 2017. The theme is "Dress It Up" and we've designed some great blocks with different shoes, purses, hats and even a bustier! Passports are just $5.00/ea and you will receive the fabric for the block each shop has designed. Passports will be available for sale at QuiltFest so grab some friends and hit the road to avoid those winter blues come January!
Best Press in Gallons
Time to stock up on Best Press - we've got a sale on gallons at $43.99. Let us know your scent of choice and we'll get it on order for you. Turnaround time is approximately 1-2 weeks. Deadline for the order is Wednesday, August 24th.
Block of the Month Programs
American Beauty is a Marti Michell Blocks of the Month class with Faye starting September 3rd. It's not too late to sign up!
Freedom Bound registration will be open until August 31st. This is a non-facilitated BOM and pick up will be on the 15th of each month starting September 15th. There is a Facebook group for questions and you can have a shop group on Club Sunday (just $5) if you so choose. Three spots remain - don't miss out on this great quilt.
Educational Opportunities
LAST CALL! Attention Embroidery Machine owners: Faye has a class just for you. The Dimensional Lone Star has a 3D effect and has modern and simple straight line quilting all done in the hoop making this a quick project. Block sizes range from 5” to 9” and all are multi formatted. Please register by tomorrow, Friday August 19th for this class to make and time for us to get in your CD.
Donna is teaching Twister Harvest with the Primitive Pinwheel tool. A wonderful Fall wallhanging to add to your decor. Please register no later than Tuesday, August 23rd for this class to make.
Michele has a new beginner's class called Stepping Stones. It is a 3 yard quilt and is wonderful for all types of fabrics. The class is $45 and in 3 sessions.
Don't miss our new "Club Sunday" on the 2nd Sunday of September and October from 11am-4pm. It will be just $5 (pre-registration required) and any small group can come to use the classroom to meet. Hand Embroidery, Featherweight, UFO, Fiber Arts and the like are all welcome.
Just a friendly reminder to sign up at least a week in advance of class. We want to be able to give at least 5 days notice for teachers and students to plan accordingly.
