Cinco de Mayo - Ole!
I hope everyone is enjoying the 5th of May - however you may be celebrating. I'm guessing I should have planned to make tacos tonight for dinner, but we had enchiladas on Tuesday so I guess that's close enough! :) Just a reminder we will be closed this Sunday, May 8th for Mother's Day. Do something special for all the moms in your life. I am looking forward to having lunch with our family and finding out the gender for Covey grandbaby #4! My sister-in-law, Katie is expecting her 2nd in September. We are rooting for another boy for Reece to play with, however my gut says it's a GIRL. We will know soon!
Janice and Karen are doing another retreat coming up in June. The theme is Lost in the 50's and it will be June 24, 25, and 26. It is $75 for a single spot and $125 if you would like a whole table to yourself. This time they will be providing dinner on Saturday night instead of lunch and have a few fun things planned around the theme. It is always a sock hoppin' good time so sign up now before it's too late!
We've got new one yard cotton pre-cuts on the floor. They are $10.99/ea, buy 1 and get 1 50% off! We also have cut more zipper bags - cats, bicycles, flip flops, etc. Come by and see for yourself!
Educational Opportunities
Lynn has her new Punch Needle Embroidery class this month, first one is next Saturday, May 14th. Click here for more details!
Terri's Easy Cathedral Window class is Tuesday, May 17th. She has a day and evening class available. If you've ever wanted to learn, she's got some easy tricks to make this a breeze.
D&R's Bobbin Work class we showed at Preview Party has been canceled for May 18th. Trisha is looking for a new date and I will advise as soon as I hear back from her.
Faye is teaching Machine Quilting 101 this quarter. Many of you often request this type of class and Faye is a fabulous instructor! Be sure to check it out.
Just a friendly reminder to sign up at least a week in advance of class. We want to be able to give at least 5 days notice for teachers and students to plan accordingly.
