I've got sunshine...
What a week it has been! My sweet little Annie girl turned the big O-N-E yesterday. She is growing like a weed and full of giggles and love, especially for her big brother. Time flies by and I feel like the train is only going faster with each passing day. Soaking up all the sweet moments I get! My younger brother is getting married this weekend and I can't wait to celebrate at the beach with him and the rest of our family. The weather has been GORGEOUS! I hope you all get some fun in the sun before it gets to be too hot to be outside! Enjoy!
New Arrivals
Coral Queen of the Sea panels and pre-cuts have arrived and boy is she adorable! You can check those out on our New Arrivals page. The beach fabric is all starting to arrive - lots of flamingos in our future!
We also got in some new Connector Playmats! These 24" panels connect together to make a playmat for your favorite car and train lover. Sample coming soon but the panels are currently available in store.
Summerfest by April Rosenthal for Moda pre-cuts have arrived and a few bolts are on the way too. Bright, fun and cheery for the perfect summer quilt on cool nights.
Educational Opportunities
New classes are all available on the website to view, along with the class handout PDF. Check out all the new classes through July here. There was a typo for Michele's beginning classes as they should have been $45, not $50. Those have been corrected. If you signed up for her class previously, you will have a store credit for the additional $5. I apologize for the mix-up!
Faye has a Technique Tuesday on the calendar for April 26 on Piecing the Rose Star. She is also teaching Machine Quilting 101 and 102 this quarter. If you have taken her class previously and are ready to quilt your own, now's the time!
Michele is ready to stitch into the night with Night Stitchers on April 29th. There are many of you that attend so if you are interested, be sure to get your seat!
Featherweight Club meets the first Sunday of each month. Gloria Parsons heads up the group and has a few little projects planned for each meeting. Bring your featherweight and have a little sewing fun!
Jan Vaine will be adding two great classes this quarter. A is for Applique will be focusing on her newest Sisters' Garden pattern. She will also be teaching 3 mini quilts from Jo's Little Favorites book starting Friday, May 6th.
Just a friendly reminder to sign up at least a week in advance of class. We want to be able to give at least 5 days notice for teachers and students to plan accordingly. If you register and the class does not make, we will provide a full refund.
